Exercise Dynamic Front 19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe, designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Jacob Hester-Heard,7th Army Training Command Mobilization & Reserve Affairs,7ATC M&RA To go for live fire. - So we are monitoring and checking to be sure that the foreign armies are using NATO standard doctrine. We're looking for interoperability to be sure compatibility with our doctrine so that when we come to a multinational fight, that we can all fight together. (tank shoots) - Just by interacting with a multinational environment here, it really helps increase our lethality as not just a soldier, not just as a U.S., but as an alliance as a whole. It increases our ability to do our jobs which is to deliver lethal fires. So just by interacting and working on our interoperability, streamlining the way we do business together, makes it much easier to do lethal fires across the board. (calls out order) - Alright. - Stand back. - Fire! (gun shoots) - (mumbles) fill artillery. A lot of the techniques and procedures are very similar to ours. So understanding where they're at's, very easy to do. Understanding what they're doing is easy to do. So knowing when and where and why they're doing it, it's not a problem. (tank shoots) - Dynamic Front 19 is pretty much the premier artillery exercise that you can do as a United States Army Soldier. And that includes National Guard and reserves. It's been an extremely satisfying opportunity. I've learned more than I ever thought I would. So for the National Guard and reserve soldiers out there, I say if you have a chance to come do this, come do it. This is by far one of the best professional experiences of my Army career.
