But as per usual, I'm fairly busy, and ThinkAbout1t takes a back seat when that happens. But I wanted to make sure I showed my support by participating, which I did. And now, I want to say one final thing on the matter. People seem to be connecting the suppression of information in another country is a victory for free speech? To those individuals I say you've connected the statement to the wrong action. The response of "instead of threatening you more, we realize it's pointless, and we can't back up our threats, so we'll just piss off" is a victory for free speech. The banning of sites obviously isn't. to impede another's rights to ensure our own isn't really a victory, just swapping one problem with another. And the correct action to take at this point is to join a movement to un-ban youtube and facebook etc... from Pakistan. The battle is won, but the war isn't over. However, I do believe that at some point in the near future, Pakistan will unblock facebook, youtube etc... and when that happens, all the content will still be there. And for that reason, I think that the people of Pakistan can back up their own free speech for a little bit, considering how long ours has been repressed when it shouldn't have been. That's my take at least. Cheers ~Thinkabout1t
