Diezel Herbert and VH 4 metal clip (passive, no boost)

k, granted, this is probably not a typical tone for me. Usually I go for ultra tightness, sm57, active pickups, low tunings etc.... Here's something different now, passive pickup, no boost, AT250DE mic on a Diezel cab... the Dimarzio X2N has a great tone but is also pretty "compressed" sounding with ultra high output, so in combination with the Diezels it has a nice "smear"...but since taste varies from person to person I figured it'd be nice to hear the amps doing something like this as well. ignore the rather random riffing, I know it's boring but at least it doesn't distract from the amps' tone ;) VH4: 2:51 Herbert: 3:39
