Discovering the Enchanting Livraria Lello, Bookstore That Inspired Harry Potter

Video shot on December 31, 2018 Maggie is a huggggeeeeee Harry Potter fan. She's read all the Harry Potter books probably about 3-4x in English and once in French. We've seen the movies at least 5x. Honestly I lost count. So naturally we had to make our pilgrimage to the birth place of Harry Potter. It's an incredibly beautiful bookstore, Livraria Lello, but be careful, Harry Potter has made this place very popular. We went around 3pm on a Monday afternoon. This time was supposedly, according to Google, was the "least" busiest time to visit. Technically Google wasn't wrong. We arrived at the bookstore around 9:30 and there was at least a thirty minute wait with a queue about two blocks long. It was even worse on Saturday. To save yourself time you can purchase a ticket that allows entrance to skip the normal queue. That's what we did and it can be used as a voucher towards a book purchase, which is what we did as well.
