Today we turned a UPS into a 1.0 Kilowatt portable power pack solar generator. Basically we took everything out from the ups and put it inside a toolbox from the hardware store. The 18650 setup is 7s20p and it has a storage capacity of 1kw. I can turn on mostly anything that is below 800w consumption like a TV, Small fridge, fan, medical devices, some power tools and minor tasks like charging a cellphone and turning on lights.
