DIY Pelican 1120 Bluetooth BoomBox with upgraded BBE XR1075 sound processor, speaker grills, and 16.8VDC charging port. This version is complete now and sounds fantastic. Optimizing these inexpensive Philips LCD TV speakers (4ohm) sound awesome has been fun! Major specifications include extended range SURE Bluetooth ver4/aptX receiver, efficient 25W per channel D-class amp, and really cheap but sweet sounding BBE XR1075 sound processor with volume, treble, and bass controls. Rechargeable Li-ion battery pack puts out a whopping 50+Whrs (4.2VDC X 4 X 3000mAhr). Skill level: moderate to challenging. Built for a former military veteran!
