DIY JILBAB IMPORTANT INFORMATION _________________________________ *DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional seamstress. I am just a girl who loves fashion, loves hijab and loves to sew. Al Hamdulilah, I am also a girl who loves to share my passion for all of these with all of you :) This is a full free step by step tutorial to teach you how to make your own jilbab or abaya or long max dress. This is a jilbab/ abaya/ long maxi dress pattern that I created myself out of my desire to make my own modest clothing and also to save money on fabric. In an order to save time in the filming and delivery of this film, I skipped one important step and that is the necessity of pressing your seams with a good quality iron after each seam that you create. Inshaa' Allah, I will revisit this topic in a future video. More than anything though I wanted to make this tutorial easy enough for even the novice sewer to follow. *This tutorial and sewing project is suitable for beginners. I used the most basic sewing technique in this video, which is sewing a "straight stitch" using your sewing machine.
