These stones are typically used outdoors, but we loved the zen atmosphere of bringing the outdoors, in. I got the idea for this project after watching the monarch butterflies we're raising, struggle to climb up the shelf I had their chrysalis hanging from... I needed to make them something they could hold onto more easily, but also wanted it to look like home decor, something cool, earthy and zen.
