The combination and integration of modal and serial principle forms the basis of the pitch relation. Музыка этой пьесы глубоко интимна. Это как бы «история любви», идея взаимоотношений между двумя разными музыкальными инструментами, своего рода скрытый инструментальный театр, попытка органичного совмещения конструктивных композиторских идей с лёгкостью и непринуждённостью выражения.
