【東アジア】ヤオ族（中国）Yao people(China)

■瑶族（広東省連南県）Yao people(China) 連南県の「八排（ハッパイ）ヤオ」とよばれるヤオ族は、旧暦10月16日の「盤王節（ばんおうせつ）」の祭りに、このように着飾る。日常はミエン語を話し、自らの民族をユーミエン(Iu Mien)もしくはミエン(Mien)、キン・ムン(Kin mun)を自称するが、中国では瑶族、タイとラオスではヤオ(Yao)、ベトナムではザオ(Dao)と呼ばれている。 There are several distinct groups within the Yao nationality, and they speak several different languages, The Iu Mien comprise 70% of the Yao population.They are reside in the mountainous terrain of the southwest and south and form the ethnic groups officially recognised by China and Vietnam. 2019年1月30日＠国立民族博物館 National Museum of Ethnology The National Museum of Ethnology, also called “Minpaku”, was opened in 1977 as a museum and research center. Its galleries display colorful cultural exhibits from nine world regions which include original artifacts as well as video, audio, and photographic materials. This museum is located on the other side of the park’s rose garden, across from the Japan Folk Crafts Museum.
