Former cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar has wished PV Sindhu ahead of Friday's Rio Olympics 2016 women's singles badminton final against Spain's Carolina Marin. Tendulkar, who is a brand ambassador of the Olympic contingent, also lauded Sakshi Malik for winning India's first medal – a bronze from the wrestling competition.
