a short film by RAFIKI youth project
with film maker Kooj Chuhan (Metaceptive Media) Produced 2011, PAL HDV.
The idea of dressing up in crazy costumes for charity takes a bizzarre turn for local reporter Frank as he encounters a mad boffin, an obsessive light bulb freak, a money-fixated dealer, a spirit from another world, an inedible pizza and an addictive board game from West Africa.
Made by Rafiki from Wigan (UK) with young people new to acting and film-making, this film is the follow-up to their more serious socially conscious film "Classifique FM", also created with Kooj Chuhan.
Special thanks to youth worker Mehmood Ahmed and his team, staff at Wigan Youth Service and Community Arts North West for making this possible.
