Dying Light Night Hunter PVP - Dealing with Flares! (1 Vs. 4)

Dealing with Flare spammers (or as I like to call them, Flammers) isn't easy. Thanks to duping, Flares are a dime a dozen. and you'll often see players, especially in 1 Vs. 1, dropping Flares like they're hotcakes all the way to your Nests. There's a few ways to take theses guys out. First off, did you know a Flare won't just magically stop you immediately? If you see a player lighting up a rod, it's your time to Pounce. I've gotten a few (confusing) kills surrounded by the UV Light of a Flare because it hadn't hit the ground before I Pounced the Human conjuring it out of his Harry-Potter-Everything-Fits-In-Here-Maybe-Doctor-Who-Reference-Too bag. Tackle. Tackle all day long. UV Light does not interrupt your Tackle, and you can, in fact, chain tackles continuously in 1 Vs. 1 (and other modes of course, it's just harder) if you time it right. This is an effective way of separating your prey from the night lights he needs to find his way to the Nests. Continually tackling, following up with a Hoard pit (1 Vs. 2+), or following up with a UV Spit (1 Vs. 1) is an efficient way of dealing with Hansel and Gretel tossing glowing breadcrumbs around town. If you're bold and have some practice, you can Tackle + Melee, or just go in for the kill with Melees while they're trying to toss more UV Lights. Some people are dedicated, and others simply don't expect a full-on confrontation. Some dicks just read on the Internet that it was a cool way to win and don't have the weaponry or skills necessary to fight you while they're still trying to get tickets to UV Flare-a-palooza.
