CRTV documentary in one of the community managed Palm Weevil grubs farms established in Cameroon by the Living Forest Trust (LIFT) NGO. LIFT in partnership with the Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD) have been working since 2010 to design a farming technique that could be used for the domestication and home production of palm weevil grubs. This technique is being experimented by farmers who have been trained and assisted by LIFT in the establishment of pilot palm weevil grub farms. Research is ongoing to improve the farming technique and its dissemination across Cameroon and Africa at large.
