Eng. Philip Okundi resigns from ODM to Maendeleo Democratic Party

Engineer Philip Okundi will now contest the Homa Bay senatorial by election on Maendeleo Democratic Party ticket. Okundi says he resigned from the Orange Democratic Party due to what he refered to as ‘shambolic nominations.’ Okundi who has already been handed a nomination certificate by the party called on residents of Homa Bay County to conduct peaceful elections and freely elect a leader of their choice to the senate.
