Ep. #378 Assembling 40 Meter QRP CW PIXIE Kit - Part 2 HUGE FAILURE

Brittain finished her board - a little messy as far as the soldering job went, but it seemed like she got it all right... Just backwards? The tones were opposite when I tried to transmit some CW, but with a little further testing, it smoked. It was my fault though - the power adapter I used was supposed to be 12volt, but it was in actuality 14 volts. Seems that is what fried it. It was soldered and put together all right, I think the power adapter was the issue. But we'll try again and hopefully have better luck next attempt.
