EPS 95 Pension Hike Issue Raised in Rajya Sabha by Trichy Siva 9000 EPS95,EPF,EPFO 2020 #EPS95 , #EPFO , #EPF , #Rajya_Sabha , #Trichy_Siva , #EPS95_hIKE All India Provident Fund (EPF) Sewa Mukat Pensions Workers Federation - Punjab under the banner of NAC , EPS-95 , Pensioners started their Chain Hunger Strike till acceptance of their demands as given below , in front of RPFO Office , Sector -17D , Chandigarh . Senior citizens / Retireed employees have resorted to Chain Hunger Strike , finding that Govt . is adament to accept their genuine demands , including clearance from the Supreme Court , that pension is the right of the employees not charity and should be given on actual salary drawn at the age of 58 years of their age . Preferring SLPs and Review Petitions against the verdict of the court reflects the intention of the Govt towards elderly cum retirees under EPS 95 pension Scheme . NAC is working on Gandhian lines by holding peaceful dharna , creating awareness from ground level upto PMO office through all means , but of no avail . Our Buldana Chain hunger strike has crossed 408 days but Govt . is adament to address our genuine claims . Retirees have no other way except to resort to Chain hunger Strike at this level also , in the furtherance of the acceptance of our legal / genuine demands . Our demands are: -1) Implementation of supreme court verdict for Pension on actual salary ; 2) Minimum Pension Rs 7500/-+DA ; 3) Medical facility to spouse and 4) Rs 5000/-for those not covered under EPS-95 or covering them under EPS-95 as per rule . 5) Full pension to Widows; 6) Retired pensioners who deposited differential with interest for pension on actual salary , have neither been given on actual salary nor deposited money with interest is released to them. Pensioners from different CPSUs, S PSUs, Private sectors are participating in “MAHA YAG” of EPS pensioners. It is made known that retirees from different sectors are getting pension ranging from Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 3300/- as at present , after contributing Rs. 5000/- per year then Rs . 6500/- per year and presently Rs. 15000/- per year and serving the country for 40 years . Retirees are seeking respectable pension to live peacefully in the fag end of their life . Leaders and Retirees from different CPSUs , SPSUs and pvt Sector under EPS 95 are participating in the agitation .
