Understanding bioethical principles has become increasingly important as science and medicine develop new techniques. Sometimes these raise moral questions that seem to challenge Orthodox teaching on the dignity of human life. When unexpectedly confronted with moral and ethical dilemmas related to biotechnologies, many people may find themselves at a loss and seek guidance. This is a unique opportunity to learn also the medical and legal implications of bioethics. The presenters are highly knowledgeable and encourage honest and fresh discussion. A unique opportunity for Orthodox to be exposed to bioethics issues in Canada. PART 1: JAN 9, 2013 Fr.
