Everyday/#36 - Dave Matthews Band: Couch Covers by The Student Loan Stringband

Born Martin Thembisile Hani, Chris Hani was the leader of the South African Communist Party, and chief of staff of Umkhonto we Sizwe, the armed wing of the African National Congress (ANC). He was a fierce opponent of the apartheid government. He was assassinated on 10 April 1993. Days after Hani's assassination, Dave Matthews began working on what would eventually become “#36”, and the first version contained lyrics about Hani's shooting. The repeated line "Hani, Hani, come and dance with me" became the chorus of the song. A live favorite for years, the music evolved into the basic foundation of the 2001 single, Everyday. Matthews later changed it from "Hani" to "Honey" believing the song to be too cheery for the subject matter. (Source: Wikipedia) You’re welcome.
