New Zealand's youngest ever paralympian is Nikita Howarth from Cambridge. In 2013, the 14-year-old added world champion to her list of achievements and is a nominee for the Waikato Times young person of the year. Howarth was born with bilateral upper limb deficiency, meaning she has no hands, but it's something which she quickly became accustomed to.
