EXCLUSIVE: First Hennessey Venom GT Spyder in the UK

I heard a Hennessey Venom GT Spyder was in the showroom at Romans International (https://www.facebook.com/romansinternational) so headed down to check it out! The car in question is chassis number 08 in satin grey akin to the Lamborghini Reventon with PURPLE wheels!? A moderately controversial look. The new Guiness World Record holding car has arrived in the UK where it is undergoing a conversion from the Ford GT's manual box that's fitted to the Venom to a paddle-shift system before heading out to its owner in the Middle-East. The Venom GT has a mindboggling 1244hp and carries just a weight of 1244kg, hitting that illustrious 1hp per kg! It would have been fantastic to hear the thing or see it moving, but when it's a car this rare - probably the first public outing of a customer car in the UK, there's no choice but to head along!
