Exploring an Abandoned House on Taunton Rd - Durham Region, Ontario, Canada

Back in the early 90's this place was a very large antique shop, well the barn was anyway. My mother and I used to come here to browse the trinkets and bobbles and I never left without something in my hand. At some point at the turn of the millenium this house was left to the elements, vandals and thieves. I visited this house about 2 years ago with WingManJan, but the video was so very shaky I could not bring myself to post it. So for me this is a revisit, and it has changed a lot. more broken windows, more damage and more decay. I loved all the artifacts that clearly show who ever loved here either served in provincial and municipal politics or was was heavily involved in the election campaigns of several popular candidates. Based on the office furniture and debris in the barn, I would say that was the war room. A very cool spiral staircase to the basement was a great touch, and a unique find. Overall, a great explore, and another house I have been able to properly document before it is razed to the ground.
