Thinking to myself, Oh!, that show goes on,,,, you got to have a gas tank!, i'm just saying,, you know, use a pop bottle,, NO, NO!, do not do that,, build a metal gas tank, no blueprint, no problem, (making a cardboard pattern to check fit is a good idea) a tank can be built with nothing more than a few hand tools, but add a couple of el-cheapo pieces of shop equipment, Harbor Freight 4x6 bandsaw,, Grizzly pan brake (G0556),, you are going to need a good soldering iron (of the correct heat range for the metal thickness you are working with), 60-40 solid roll solder used on this tank, with brushed on acid flux, don't forget to crimp 'er up, line 'er up straight and true, comments?, now is a good time to leave a comment,, safety first,, eleven gauge bare steel to be coated inside with kreem fuel tank liner and painted outside with two coats of rustoleum rusted metal primer and three coats of gloss black enamel,, keep the gas inside of the tank and the paint will not come off,,,, use a funnel and have a good cap gasket, vent the tank to the side, not on top of it, this has been #19 of this dishpan get 'er running series,, 1922? Fairbanks-Morse with dishpan flywheels, type "Z", hit and miss ignition, battery and buzz coil, 1 1/2 H.P., to be continued,,,,
