How green do you want your wasteland?
Showcased are three mods that add different levels of life and growth to the currently barren commonwealth
A Little Bit Of Green by dragonalex155

'A Little Bit Of Green' is an amalgamation & tweak of 'A Touch Of Green' by Arisen1 and 'All Trees Have Leaves' by Ciprriano. While both of these mods are brilliant in their own right, 'A Little Bit Of Green' tones down each, both in colour and volume, to retain a wasteland feel whilst still adding subtle traces of life to the Commonwealth.
Re-Growth Overhaul by Spiffyskytrooper

Re-Growth adds much more life to the wasteland, with vibrant foliage not only in the open spaces, but also encroaching on the towns and cities. Walls and ruins will be covered in moss, with hand-placed vines dangling from rooftops and wires. The wilderness is covered with healthy grasses, flowers and vegetation and moss has started to grow across roads and up buildings, giving a truly deserted feel.
Resurrection by ResurrectionDev

Resurrection is currently only in Beta, but looks set to become one of the top mods with regards to environment overhauls. In this mod, the radiation-driven accelerated growth that has caused so many wasteland creatures to expand to giant proportions seems to have affected the flora as well. Rather than the wasteland being barren, it has been completely dominated with plant life, with trees and grasses covering the wilderness, roads and cities alike, with ambient sounds of insects, birdsong and the like to compliment the new atmosphere.
As this mod is still in beta, it will need to be downloaded manually and either installed directly into the data file, or added to Nexus Mod Manager using the green plus "install from file" button within NMM itself. This method makes it far easier to install and uninstall with a minimum of effort. This mod also comes with a fairly heavy FPS hit, as is expected with an overhaul of this magnitude and detail.
As usual, don't forget to endorse the creators if you like their mod.
