Felbermayr Transport and Installation of a 285-ton column

The Schwechat Refinery of the OMV AG, one of the leading petroleum and natural gas concerns in central and eastern Europe. Mainly sulphur-free fuels are produced here. Among other things, the erection of a huge de-sulphurisation column was necessary for this porpose. This column had to be brought halfway through and around Europe by ship to the refinery's de-sulphurisation facility. A major logistical project with which the Felbermayr corporate group was commissioned by the OMV AG.
