First gay matrimonial: Search for homosexual groom comes to end

In a country, which does not open-handedly accept gay/lesbian relationships, mother of a gay activist had recently shocked many with her matrimonial advertisement for her son. Now, surprisingly, Harish Iyer has recieved more than 70 proposals from all over the world for what is believed to be the first gay matrimonial in India."Between Wednesday and Thursday, when it was circulated widely on social media and picked up by the media, I received 73 proposals in my email," said Padma, Harish's mother. गे बेटे हरीश अय्यर की शादी के लिए अखबारों में ऐड देने वाली पद्मा अय्यर को जल्द ही बेटे के लिए 'दूल्हा' मिलने जा रहा है। अखबार में विज्ञापन के बाद 36 वर्षीय हरीश की शादी के लिए कई प्रस्ताव आए। इनमें से एक लड़के को हरीश का दूल्हा बनाने पर अय्यर की मां गंभीरता से विचार कर रही हैं। 58 साल की पद्मा अय्यर ने पिछले महीने मुंबई के अखबार में ऐड दिया था और कहा था कि वह अपने गे बेटे की शादी के लिए दूल्हे की तलाश कर रही हैं। बता दें कि हरीश अय्यर मुंबई के एलजीबीटी (लेस्बियन, गे, बाईसेक्शुअल और ट्रांसजेंडर) कम्युनिटी से जुड़े जाने-पहचाने नाम हैं।
