Join the Heli Network Facebook Page. Thanks to all the viewers & subscribers for watching. It has been my privilege to share these experiences over the past several years. Views, specifically thanks to the advertisements has made these videos possible. A new GoPro2 with audio adapter is the latest addition. And am wanting to purchase another camera for a different angles. Keep up the clicks, even though we all hate the advertisements! :) I had the privilege of actually flying a Bell UH-1 Huey this past September. The owner, which is a friend of mine was sling-loading up in the Smoky Mountain National Park, hauling supplies to the shelters along the Appalachian Mountains. It was my first time in a Huey, let alone flying one. I flew from the airport up to our jobsite where the "real" pilot took over and I turned into the instrument guy. My responsibilities consisted of watching the gauges: pressures, temperatures, and torque, making sure everything stayed within limits. The helicopter is based out of the Chattanooga, TN area yet has the capability of being hauled on a semi-trailor to the job site, keeping the operational costs to a minimum.
