Five paise costs Delhi's bus conductor his job

In 1973, Ranveer Yadav, a bus conductor of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), had ticketed a woman passenger for 10 paise. But a DTC checking team said the ticket was for 15 paise. Because of a loss of just 'five paise', the DTC sacked Yadav in 1976. Yadav has been knocking at the law's doors for justice. In 1990, the labour court ruled in his favour.
