In 1973, Ranveer Yadav, a bus conductor of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), had ticketed a woman passenger for 10 paise. But a DTC checking team said the ticket was for 15 paise. Because of a loss of just 'five paise', the DTC sacked Yadav in 1976. Yadav has been knocking at the law's doors for justice. In 1990, the labour court ruled in his favour. But the DTC appealed the High Court and the case is going on, Yadav, now 70 years old, seeks full pay and pension benefits for the years lost fighting for his cause
