A fun fishing day, but the water level is very low, causing a lot of scraping on gravel and rocks. As the day went on, the upriver wind became stronger and stronger, making for lots of paddling and course corrections. Lots of wildlife today, Great blue herons, green herons, one bald eagle, lots of ducks and a mink. Until we get some rain, this will be my last float for a while to avoid more damage to my canoe.
