EFolklore is a collection of traditional local folklore from around Indonesia. The videos were created in a collaboration between EF English First for Kids and Teens and Kastari Animation. We hope EFolklore will be a fun and educational experience for Indonesian children and children throughout the world.

Malin Kundang is a folktalestory from West Sumatra. It is a story of a young handsome man who goes abroad to try and make a better life for himself. Although he becomes rich and successful, he also becomes arrogant and when he goes back to his hometown, he hurts his mother badly. Watch the video to find out what happens in the end.
