We just jump right in with, ABS Master Smith James R. Cook demonstrating how he forges a knife using a gas forge, 25lb little giant, hammer, and anvil. The demo was done for us at the Dec 2012 Uncle Al's 2nd Thursday knife meeting. Previous Step: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFZIuuwaKCU&list=UUw1ht41lt6V5iDifG4LiZlA&index=1 Next Step: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKvExziojcg&list=UUw1ht41lt6V5iDifG4LiZlA&index=3 The knife itself is one that we are working on during the monthly meeting at Uncle Al's 2nd Thursday meeting; http://www.riversidemachine.net/2ndthursday.ivnu I will continue to video, edit, and update my youtube channel after each meeting. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. A special thanks to James R. Cook for being kind enough to do the demonstration. His work is displayed here: www.jrcookknives.com I will also be posting up other knife related videos and tutorials. There are multiple ways to do each step and I plan on going over each of them. Whether it is forging or stock removal, I will cover as much of it as I can as time goes on.
