Formal Reflecting Pool at Colwell (Northumberland) by Pondguru

Pond constructed as reflecting pool at Colwell (approx 10 km North of Corbridge) in Northumberland. Inner wall made from medium density blocks, outer wall reclaimed housing stone with cut sandstone corners to match house. Capping stones were from Border Stone in Haltwhistle. Filters are 2 x OASE Filtral 5000 combined filter / U.V. to keep water clear. Lilles may be added to the pool in the spring.
