The Peace Drone, designed for FPV ("first person view") flying. Uses the simple construction Armin Wing airfoil. It's very easy and forgiving to fly due to the canard configuration and low wing loading. It flies slow, glides well, and is very difficult to stall. The pusher prop stays out of the camera field of view. Weight is 1300g with basic FPV setup and single battery for 10 minute flights. Easy to build out of 4 sheets of Readi-Board from Dollar Tree, hot glue, and packing tape. All construction cuts are straight and square. 1100kV motor and 10x4.5 prop gives about 800g of static thrust. It collapses to a size of 8x8x32" for storage and transport. Named the "Peace Drone" in contrast to the Predator, Reaper, etc. military drones. I'm kind of bummed by the bad press UAV's are getting lately by killing and spying. The Peace Drone is made for FPV fun only. The FPV setup is a 200mw 5.8gHz from Hobby King with their cheapest 1/3" CCD Sony board camera (no case) and stock antennas.
