There are two injured civilians in this area, which I recommend you to heal, since they award 15+ charisma points each. Every time you fill the charisma bar, you are awarded with the ability to recruit one more soldier (twelve soldiers being the max you can recruit in the game). Anyway, get used to commanding your squad to go in front of you, since they will be of tremendous help during the entire game. In case one of them gets injured, just heal them (healing them won't be a problem for now, since there are loads of medic kits here). As for the area itself... it's really easy. Make good use of the conveniently placed gas barrels to kill the soviets. Once you get to the top of the building, place the flag and you're done.
