Froedtert: Patient Did Not Have Rare Brain Disease

Test results for a patient suspected of having Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease have come back negative. Froedtert Hospital canceled all non-emergency surgeries last week after learning a patient may have had the disease and that it may have been exposed to other patients.
