Frontrunners Placement Scheme - De Montfort University (DMU)

This campus-based placement scheme allows current students to apply for a variety of diverse placements within DMU to put what's learnt in the lecture theatre into practice in the work place. Frontrunners is the latest addition to DMU's huge range of employability measures. These include a degree run in conjunction with Hewlett Packard|, a volunteering scheme that sees 1,000 students per year give their time to the community, and reinforces close links with industry which allow our courses to teach up-to-the-minute skills. These initiatives are what allow many of our graduates to go on to work for companies including the BBC, Warner Bros, Porsche, Sky TV, Dyson, Nike and GlaxoSmithKline. The paid placements offer on-the-job training and are a meaningful way to improve your graduate employability.You will be working on real tasks, with current DMU employees.
