As an English speaker and a foreigner learning Vietnamese, Vietnamese is a rather interesting language as it incorporates 6 different tones. In order to speak Vietnamese, you need to remember the word and the specific tone. However, when you accidentally change the tone, combine different words, or even make small pronunciation mistakes, it can drastically change the meaning. This video will highlight some funny mistakes that I’ve made speaking Vietnamese, listening issues and a couple fun stories with Vietnamese learning English.
