Gachie, where armed gangs unleash terror at will

Imagine an area so close to the capital Nairobi yet so far from the instruments of security enjoyed by foreign envoys. Its an area that is ruled by unruly gangs who unleash wanton terror on residents, without blinking an eye to the existence of security agencies. Hassan Mugambi visited  Gachie Kihara area of Kiambu county and tells us how police seem to have taken a back seat  and resigned to a community which is content on hiding gangsters in their midst.
