Garbage truck catches fire in front of 12th battalion of GOF headquarters along Miri-Bintulu road

A garbage truck caught fire in front of the 12th Battalion of General Operations Force headquarters along Miri-Bintulu road around 7.40am today. Miri Central Fire and Rescue Station rushed 10 firemen to the scene, which is located 4km from the station after receiving a distress call of the garbage truck fire, said Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) chief Law Poh Kiong.
