German Dumbo flies over crowd but none got injured

Circus crowd in the German town of Osnabruck lived a serious scare when an elephant toppled into them during the performance on Wednesday. SOT, Jana Mandana, Head of Circus Krone (German): "And one was so stupid that it fell from the stage. The animal wanted to get back and so it didn't release at all. But it couldn't stand up at all at this moment, because the other two were on it. At that moment, we are of course responsible for, firstly, the audience. And I wanted to see that nothing happened there [audience area] and the public are safe. The animals came at the second place, we let them stand and check if they are okay or something went wrong. But so far we could not know. We first get them to stand and said 'that's okay. We are now here.' And we went back.
