Ghana prepares to switch to soot free transport

Ghana is considering increased investments in low-carbon urban bus fleets, as part of measures to tackle climate change. Under the soot free bus standard project, buses to be imported to Ghana must have engine technologies that support cleaner fuels like concentrated natural gas, advance diesel and hybrid electricity. Cabinet is yet to approve the plan.
