Giant panda enjoys long-awaited snow at Moscow Zoo

Giant panda Ding Ding truly enjoyed the long-awaited snow at the Moscow Zoo in a video posted on Instagram on Tuesday. The footage shows the female panda playing in the snow, climbing to a spruce tree and tearing off branches from it. Ding Ding arrived in Moscow last May together with male panda Ru Yi. The pandastic mammals are set to spend the next 15 years in the Russian capital as part of a scientific programme aiming to study ways of preserving the species along with the possibility of returning them to the wild.
