Kate Farley, who suffers from the muscular disorder, which affects movement in the arms and legs, took up boxing in 2017, works out five times a week, and says the sport has dramatically changed her life. The 29-year-old from Bournemouth in Dorset, uses a wheelchair to get around but is able to box by balancing on her knees, a position she says she feels most stable and comfortable in.
