Girls Pissing on Girls Pissing - Rainbow Islands

Following up 'A Fraud Abroad', released 2013, 'Rainbow Islands' is the second single from Girls Pissing on Girls Pissing's soon to be released LP, Scrying in Infirmary Architecture. Written during mushroom season, the song emerged from its cold, damp surroundings as a relatively upbeat and colourful song for a band whose sound has recently been described as "life rotting slowly under a black heat" (PerteetFracas.org, 2015). The video for the song follows no linear narrative, but works off the idea that under the floorboards of the monotonous p/leisure surface, there are more grounded, improvisational existences. Rainbow Islands was recorded at Thinkt Studios by Joshua Lynn and released via Muzai. Video directed by Catherine Cumming.
