gm48: Parum playthrough (no deaths)

gm48 is a game jam where you make a game in 48 hours. This is a playthrough for my entry, Parum. It gets pretty challenging, so hopefully this helps if you get stuck. Some tips to help you out with the combat: -Probably most important, focus on killing the spawners first and foremost. If you are quick you can destroy them before they create too many ghosts. This becomes imperative towards the middle of the game when ghosts can become totally overwhelming if you don't destroy the spawners fast. See this at 1:52. -Pay attention to the ghosts movement patterns. You don't always have to make large movements to avoid them. By making small timed movements you can stay closer to the spawners to destroy them quick, even while you are being chased by hordes of ghosts. See this at 2:53 and 4:18. -There is a friendly ghost in the final area that will both refill your health a bit each time you hit it and also raise your max hp if you bring it coins, which can help a lot. Just make sure you save 15 coins for the shockwave ability if you haven't got it yet. If you do accidentally miss the shockwave ability it's still possible to win but it will be harder to beat the boss since you'll have to get closer to hit him. See the hp ghost at 3:50. -Extra tip: Clicking with timing to attack is a little faster than just holding the mouse button down.
