Gnostic Gospels- The Forgotten, True Spiritual Christianity

More recent discoveries of the Gnostic Gospels, some of which are dated before the currently accepted 4 gospels, highlight a split in early Christianity. While the dominant Roman-icised Christianity led by the politically motivated Emperor Constantine appeared to gel together Pagan roots with Christian symbolism, & intellectually tried to select their own texts for a solid empire... the more spiritual God-conscious message of Jesus (Gnostics), which is in line with Eastern spirituality/ personal God-awakening, were outlawed, considered heretical, and even killed. ____ US Discovery channel documentary
