Gold Coast Bass Fishing: Imakatsu - Fujin Spider

Surface session with the Imakatsu Fujin Spider. I found this lure is made of a very durable rubber plastic that can withstand fish after fish. The wire that acts as the weed guard broke off very quickly but this did not affect the hookup rate or the way the lure sits in the water. I found that this lure has the point of the hook sitting under water instead above, so without the weed guard I was collecting a bit of weed every so often. The jig head also floats (my guess is that it is hollow) I did find this meant it was hard to cast any distance and a light action rod was needed.
