Government Hospital without Basic Amenities in Cheyyur, Kanchipuram district

About 700 patients from around 100 villages visit the government hospital at Cheyyur in Kanchipuram district. However the hospital suffers from lack of basic amenities such as restroom facilities, absence of required number of doctors, etc. The mortuary has been shut, since there are no aircondintion facility and patients are being directed to other hospitals at Maduranthagam or Chingleput.
