Graft-Tainted Excise Personnel Get The Boot

Two days after a team of excise personnel were booked for allegedly planting liquor bottles in a Punjab businessman's car in Kaimur district and extorting Rs 50 thousand from him, the Bihar government on Wednesday dismissed six excise employees posted in the district with immediate effect. They will also be deprived of all pension/service benefits whatsoever.
