Green and Black "Commander" Poison Dart Frog

The Commander is the second poison dart frog found at Pierella Ecological Garden. It does not typically vocalize like the "Blue Jeans" poison dart frog. It is found throughout Pierella and we often see it jumping across trails, only to disappear in the leaves on the rain forest floor. It is larger than Blue Jeans and usually easier to spot on the rain forest floor.
